Reasons for PM-241-BT/PM-246S Flashing Red Lights

Slowly flashing red light indicates the printer cover is not closed.Please close the printer cover tightly again.Quickly flashing red light indicates a lack of paper.

Please refer to the following steps to restore the printer to normal printing status.

This article also applies to models with similar structures:PM-245-BT/PM-249-BT series.

1.Close up the cover firmly

There are clips on both sides of the top cover that can be connected to the bottom of the printer. Make sure both sides are pressed and tightly engaged.

Press down firmly on the cover to make sure it is fully closed.

If the above methods are not helpful, please print a self-test page or take a screenshot of Labelife’s information page sending to email: bestservice2012@outlook.com to see if the firmware version needs to be upgraded (A newer firmware version works better in solving the issue).

To print a test page,please do as the following:

A. Insert the label and make sure it is straight and smooth. While the printer is on standby, hold the Feed Button for about 4 seconds.

B. After the blue light flashes once, release the Feed Button.
