Reasons for D520-BT Flashing Red Lights
Flashing red light indicates a paper jam or the dust/contaminants affecting the Print Head.Please refer to the following steps to restore the printer to normal printing status.
This article is also applicable to incorrect printing or skip pages when printing.
1.Using the Printer for the First Time
Please run automatic label identification：
For Labels separated by gaps:
Restart the printer and insert labels, making sure they are straight and smooth. While the printer is on standby (the indicator light should be blue), hold the Feed Button for about 3 seconds. Wait until the indicator light turns purple and release the Feed Button.
For Black mark labels:
Insert the label and make sure it is straight and smooth. Turn off the printer. Then, hold the Feed Button while turning on the printer. Wait until the red light turns blue, then immediately release the Feed Button.

2.Using the Printer for a While
If the red light on the printer flashes after a period of use, it may be that the sensor for detecting paper in the printer is blocked by dirt and needs to be cleaned.
Follow the steps below and load paper again:
2.1 Clean the print head
Clean the Printer Head with 75% alcohol pads.
2.2. Restore factory settings
Hold the Feed Button, turn on the printer, and release the button after the red light flashes 5 times.
Before printing, make sure the paper size on the paper setup setting corresponds to the paper you are using.

Try printing the label when the setting is completed.
